He continued to rise, securing four DP World Tour victories, including a career-defining win at the 2013 BMW PGA Championship, where he triumphed in a dramatic playoff. Matteo’s journey took a challenging turn in the following years, but his passion and determination never wavered. In 2024, he made a resounding comeback, reclaiming his DP World Tour status by winning the Workwear Jonsson Open.
